The sun is going down but it never really gets cool here. Just chilling by the pool relaxing. Someone set up some speakers and their calm soundtrack is pretty awesome. Sounds like music they would play at the Bronze in Buffy.
At the Caliente Tropics Resort (resort is definitely an exaggeration) and it is amazing.
Very cheap. Turns out Anna Nicole came here in 2003 and thought it sucked. Dead. Also that movie last night was so bad-good. On the lifetime movie scale it was pretty good.
Her handprints are in some random sidewalk here next to “some monkey and the CEO of PetSmart.” Those were the words the receptionist used. Died.
Tomorrow we head back to the valley. The countdown to our return to Sweden is beginning and it’s a little stressful. Sweden and California are so different and life is so different in both places. Soon no more car and heat. Bikes and mosquitoes. Interactions will change. Goodbye social life! At least school will be starting soon.
I have to start the job search again. Perfect way to end the vacation….not.
Heading to Big Bear next weekend with my parents. Also 4th of July is Thursday. I have no plans…..yet.
