Started working at the nation during their lunch shift and am having a blast doing it. Love meeting new people and using my swedish! I actually corrected some international student’s swedish like a total asshole.

Knowing Swedish is such a plus working at the nation. Makes getting to know everyone so much easier! When I was in Lund without any swedish it was so hard to break into conversations but now I know what is going on a good 80% of the time and it is going swimmingly. Also work experience to put on that Swedish resume of mine. It’s a volunteer job and I really enjoy it. Having been like in limbo these past couple of months this is like so surre. So hard to meet people here when you aren’t in some program and like 3 days into this ine, I am working at one of the nations and meeting a ton of people!
Now I just have to get funny in Swedish. …
