Took the train to Stockholm yesterday. Wandered from Island to Island with my boyfriend’s parents who are visiting from Northern Sweden. They bought us this amazing poster for our kitchen

One annoying thing about Stockholm is transportation. It can be stupid expensive unless you live there and use it constantly.
They got rid of this coupon system that you could share among multiple people they had for subways and buses and replaced it with a card system. You have to buy a SL and load it with money. And usually it’s like 4 dollars (25 sek) per ride…only worth it with a monthly pass.
Saw this bike system around the city though. The basic check out bike and return it to their bike thingies. Just google city bikes stockholm or something.
165 sek and like 300 sek for like 4 months. If you live there just buy your own bike. And a good lock. You’ll only have to buy a new one if it’s stolen.
Recommend for tourists 
probably more worth your while than buying 3 SL cards and loading up money to it.
Also stockholmers please start using yelp.
