It is a pretty typical practice around the world to have a special breakfast on Sundays and I have talked about the typical Swedish breakfast of sandwiches in the past.
But I personally like to have like a special American breakfast of scrambled eggs or pancakes on Saturdays and leave the Swedish breakfast for Sunday. Lazier day, easier breakfast to make
Lingon bread, präst cheese, cucumber, ham, boiled egg, caviar, and coffee. Perfection, pretty low calorie, and filling.
I personally don’t really like tubed caviar but my boyfriend, like most other swedes, squeeze it on in excess.
Slice up the egg, place it on the open-faced sandwich and enjoy!
